Malvern Prep put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Columbia as the Malvern Prep Friars made off with a 13-5 victory. The result was nothing new for Malvern Prep, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Cole Kirschner made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also only allowed one walk). Kirschner has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Kirschner was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-4 with four RBI, a triple, and a stolen base.
