Soccer Recap: Powell County Takes a Loss

Powell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the East Carter Raiders. That's two games in a row now that Powell County have lost by exactly eight goals.

Powell County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East Carter, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Powell County will host Model at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Carter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Prestonsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Carter will need to watch out since Prestonsburg have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
