Chaminade Julienne Catholic won the last time they faced Archbishop McNicholas and things went their way on Friday too. The Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles managed a 56-52 win over the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Despite the loss, Archbishop McNicholas saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Grant Waters went 7 of 15 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Gundler, who posted five points and five rebounds.

Chaminade Julienne Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Archbishop McNicholas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles challenge the Bellbrook Golden Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they and Stow-Munroe Falls will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Stow-Munroe Falls has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
