Grand Meadow extends home losing streak to ten

Recap: Grand Meadow Superlarks vs. Mabel-Canton Cougars

The Grand Meadow Superlarks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 65-41 walloping at the hands of Mabel-Canton. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Grand Meadow in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

Cayden Tollefsrud was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and six steals for Mabel-Canton. Tollefsrud is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season. Riley Snell was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds and six steals.

Grand Meadow's loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Mabel-Canton, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Houston the next time they take the court. Grand Meadow will head out to face the Hurricanes at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
