Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wesclin). They put the hurt on the Valmeyer Pirates with a sharp 10-1 win on Monday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 7-1.

Wesclin's offense was hitting Valmeyer from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Brady Twenhafel led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by himself.

The victory (which was Wesclin's third in a row) raised their record to 5-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three matchups. As for Valmeyer, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Wesclin didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against Hillsboro on the 30th. As for Valmeyer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 9-0 defeat against Gateway Science Academy on the 1st.
