 The Central Grizzlies will head out on the road to  face off against  the Clovis Cougars at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6  runs per game  this season.
 Central can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-0 margin over Clovis East. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Central.
 Central got a great performance from  Sara Barbosa as she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Bella Palma was a standout: she scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.  Kamana Powell was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Clovis' offense. They lost  9-0 to Clovis East on Thursday.
 Central's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-6-1. As for Clovis, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16-1 record  this season.
 Everything went Central's way against Clovis in their previous matchup  back in April as Central made off with  a  14-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
