Basketball Game Preview: Lumpkin County Indians vs. North Hall Trojans

The Lumpkin County Indians will square off against the North Hall Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Hall took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lumpkin County, who comes in off a win.

Lumpkin County took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Dawson County 75-45. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-19.

Meanwhile, North Hall had to suffer through a 85-43 loss at the hands of Pickens. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Dragons are ranked 30th).

Lumpkin County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for North Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Lumpkin County was able to grind out a solid win over North Hall in their previous matchup on January 9th, winning 86-74. Does Lumpkin County have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Hall turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
