Softball Game Preview: Dayton Bulldogs vs. Johnson Crusaders

The Dayton Bulldogs will face off against the Johnson Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last six games Dayton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Dayton blew Summit out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Summit got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since April 3rd.

Meanwhile, Johnson didn't have quite enough to beat Governor Livingston on Thursday and fell 7-5. The loss was the Crusaders' first of the season.

Dayton has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.2 runs. Having lost for the first time this season, Johnson fell to 7-1.
