Basketball Recap: Bruce Comes Up Short

Bruce was the 89-65 winner over Lake Holcombe when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruce Red Raiders took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Holcombe Chieftains on Monday. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bruce's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Lake Holcombe, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lake Holcombe beat Bruce by a score of 63-50 on Tuesday.
