Basketball Recap: United Christian Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

United Christian Academy lost against Grace Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The United Christian Academy Crusaders received a blow as they fell 38-19 to the Grace Christian Warriors. The matchup marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Grace Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aubrey Greenmun led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Greenmun has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Graycie Kincheloe was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

United Christian Academy moved to 3-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Grace Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

United Christian Academy will challenge Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Appalachian Christian School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
