Currituck County is a perfect 10-0 against Camden County since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Knights will face off against the Bruins at 5:00 p.m. Currituck County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Currituck County's offense. They fell 2-0 to Great Bridge on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Currituck County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 205th in North Carolina, while Great Bridge are ranked second in Virginia).

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Camden County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Pasquotank County on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 9-0 shutout. Camden County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Pasquotank County from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kaelyn Windham led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Camden County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six contests. As for Currituck County, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Currituck County took their win against Camden County in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
