Baseball Recap: Ar-We-Va Triumphs

Ar-We-Va barely beat Exira-EHK the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rockets never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Monday. The Rockets have beaten the Spartans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Spartans has come to flipping the script.

Ar-We-Va's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Exira-EHK, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Ar-We-Va will square off against Glidden-Ralston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Exira-EHK, they will face off against CAM at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.67 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
