Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence Day). They never let the Charlotte Christian Knights get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Thursday. Max Shearer was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Providence Day's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Charlotte Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Providence Day and Charlotte Christian will both be playing Covenant Day the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will host the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Chargers will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
