Volleyball Game Preview: University Laboratory School Junior Rainbows vs. Punahou Buff n' Blue

The University Laboratory School Junior Rainbows will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Punahou Buff n' Blue at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, University Laboratory School got the win against Sacred Hearts Academy by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Junior Rainbows.

Meanwhile, Punahou faced Kamehameha Kapalama in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Buff n' Blue came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

University Laboratory School's record is now 11-3. As for Punahou, their record now sits at 15-13.

University Laboratory School suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Punahou in their previous meeting back in September of 2023. Can the Junior Rainbows avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
