Greene County barely beat Northeast Jones the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 13-3 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Greene County got a massive performance out of Zamiah Knight, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs Knight has posted since back in March. Riley Kate Byrd also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Greene County's record now sits at 18-7. As for Northeast Jones, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-5-1.

Looking ahead, Greene County will take on Stone at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Northeast Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
