Softball Preview: Peach County Trojans vs. Academy for Classical Education Gryphons
Peach County hasn't had much luck against Academy for Classical Education recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Peach County Trojans are taking a road trip to face off against the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Thursday, Peach County needed a bit of extra time to put away Cairo. Everything went their way against the Syrupmakers as they made off with a 14-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.
Shaniyah Gibson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over nine innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits.
