Volleyball Recap: Central Noble Takes a Loss

If Central Noble was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Fort Wayne North Side on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Woodlan Warriors on Wednesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 22-25, 25-12.

Central Noble has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. As for Woodlan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Central Noble wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Garrett on the 9th. As for Woodlan, they will challenge Adams Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
