Colony hadn't done well against Lathrop recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Knights walked away with a 19-6 victory over the Malemutes. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Colony can attribute much of their success to Ella Richarson, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one TD.

The win made it two in a row for Colony and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Lathrop, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Colony and Lathrop will both be playing Palmer the next time they take the field. The Malemutes will head out to face the Moose at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Knights will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
