Volleyball Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cabrillo last Tuesday, Jordan came back down to earth. The Jordan Panthers came up short against the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Jackrabbits recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-19.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jordan fell to 3-1. As for Long Beach Poly, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Jordan will be playing in front of their home fans against Compton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Long Beach Poly, they will face off against Millikan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
