Quincy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Sterling Golden Warriors by a score of 2-0. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Warriors, too.

While Quincy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15.

Madison Loos paced Quincy's offense, picking up six kills. Loos got some help from Madelyn Hamby and her 13 assists. Alyssa Farlow and Leah Knudson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Quincy's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Sterling, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Quincy will take on rival Galesburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sterling is set to square off against their familiar foe Rock Island at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
