Omaha Westside faced Omaha South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. While the 4-4 score might suggest a draw, it was the Packers who were credited with the win. The Omaha South Packers got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Omaha Westside Warriors' one. Even though they lost, Omaha Westside's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 2.7 goals per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Everest Scherlizin and Miles Oksman scored all four of Omaha Westside's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Omaha Westside and nudges their season record down to 3-3. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matchups. As for Omaha South, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
