Basketball Recap: Chad Glover and Ayden Montgomery Secure Win for Suburban Christian

Suburban Christian won the last time they faced Heartland Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Suburban Christian Crusaders came out on top against the Heartland Christian Saints by a score of 58-46.

Leading Suburban Christian to victory were Ayden Montgomery and Chad Glover. Montgomery posted 18 points and eight boards, while Glover almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. That's the most rebounds Montgomery has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Garrett Elliott, who put up eight points along with five boards and three steals.

Suburban Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points over those games. As for Heartland Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Suburban Christian has already played their next matchup, a 58-55 loss against Anderson HomeSchool on the 6th. As for Heartland Christian, they will host Legacy Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th.
