Softball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short at Home Against Northgate

Concord unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Northgate Broncos on Wednesday, falling 18-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost six in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Concord will head out to face off against Hayward at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northgate, they will face off against Salesian College Preparatory at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
