Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Find Success

Roosevelt saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mission Viejo Diablos by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Rylee Dale paced Roosevelt's offense, picking up ten kills. Dale got some help from Mya Capistrano and her 20 assists. Capistrano was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mission Viejo, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Roosevelt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Crean Lutheran on the 16th. As for Mission Viejo, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Sage Hill on the 16th.
