Baseball Recap: Beverly Hills Has No Trouble Against Centennial

Beverly Hills was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Centennial on Tuesday. The Normans blew past the Apaches 13-1. Considering the Normans have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cameron Park was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. Joe Rendon was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.

Beverly Hills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Centennial, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Beverly Hills will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Apaches: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
