Tamaqua came tearing into Wednesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Panther Valley Panthers 10-0. The Blue Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Naomi Knitter tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Nico Conahan was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kolbe Robb, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Tamaqua was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. They are 10-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Tamaqua pushed their record up to 13-5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Panther Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Tamaqua does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Panther Valley, they will head out to square off against Pine Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
