 Limon and Peyton are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Limon Badgers will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Peyton Panthers at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 On Tuesday, Limon got the win against Goodland  by a conclusive  11-1. That's two games straight that Limon has won by  exactly ten  runs.
  Jordan Rockwell was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Rockwell was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Cale Bennett, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played.  Trey Smith was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Peyton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Scorpions 14-8.
 Like Limon, Peyton also got a great game from a two-way player:  Bryce Love. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  4.1 innings while giving up  four earned runs off only  one  hit. Love was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs.
 In other batting news,  Noah Martin was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Limon's win was  their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 19-0. As for Peyton, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
 Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Saturday. Limon hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.5  home runs per game. However, it's not like Peyton struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 0.5. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
