Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Unity Christian and Varsity Opponent have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Knights came up short against Varsity Opponent, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with Varsity Opponent: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-8.

Unity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Unity Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Quad Cities Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Varsity Opponent, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against O'Bryant on the 4th.
