It was a good run, but Lawrence County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Cornersville Bulldogs. Lawrence County were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cornersville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2019.

Lawrence County's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Cornersville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1-1.

Lawrence County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cornersville, they will venture away from home to challenge Lewis County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
