South Salem won the last time they faced Corvallis and things went their way on Saturday too. The Saxons walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saxons.

Addison Herber paced South Salem's offense, picking up ten kills. Herber got some help from Kamree Orizotti and her 19 assists. Orizotti was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

South Salem's victory bumped their record up to 23-7-1. As for Corvallis, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

South Salem has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Bend on the 18th. As for Corvallis, they will square off against Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
