Softball Recap: Brackenridge Comes Up Short

Brackenridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-1 to the La Villa Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Brackenridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amber Barajas, who went a perfect1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Brackenridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Brackenridge will face off against Port Isabel at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for La Villa, they will be taking part in a tournament against Juarez-Lincoln at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
