Mariner fell victim to Riverdale and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell to the Riverdale Raiders 6-0. The Tritons' loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mariner fell to 3-1. As for Riverdale, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mariner will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while.
