Basketball Recap: Farmington Drops Season-High Score on Sunapee

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Farmington). They blew past the Sunapee Lakers 80-45 on Monday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Farmington is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Sunapee, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Farmington will have a chance to go back-to-back against Sunapee: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
