Volleyball Recap: Richlands Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Richlands had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the East Duplin Panthers, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richlands will head out to take on South Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Duplin, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
