Softball Game Preview: Glenn Bobcats vs. Freeland Falcons

The Glenn Bobcats will challenge the Freeland Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenn knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Freeland likes a good challenge.

While Glenn didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Capac with a sharp 20-2 win on Monday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 15 runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Freeland suffered their closest defeat since May 11, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Lake Fenton by a score of 8-6. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost four in a row.

Glenn's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Freeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
