Tell City lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Perry Central, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Marksmen blew past the Commodores 7-1 on Friday. The Marksmen not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10, 2024.

Drew Greulich made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Greulich was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Landon Sandage, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Max Fortwendel was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The victory got Tell City back to even at 1-1. As for Perry Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Tell City and Perry Central will both be playing North Posey the next time they take the field. The Marksmen will host the Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Commodores will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
