Volleyball Recap: Plainfield North Gets the Win

After losing to Yorkville the last time they met, Plainfield North decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Foxes on Thursday.

Plainfield North easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16.

Easton Isaacson paced Plainfield North's offense, picking up five kills. Isaacson got some help from Joey cavlovic and his seven assists.

The victory got Plainfield North back to even at 4-4. As for Yorkville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Plainfield North will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Joliet West at 5:30 p.m. As for Yorkville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Prospect at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
