Basketball Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas Finds Playoff Glory Versus Miramar

It's playoff time, and St. Thomas Aquinas had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Miramar Patriots by a score of 60-53 on Monday. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Patriots are ranked 58th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Thomas Aquinas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kellson (KJ) Sandi, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 20 points. Dwayne Wimbley Jr. was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight boards.
