Basketball Game Preview: Crestview Bulldogs vs. Gulf Breeze Dolphins + Official Tickets

Crestview is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Thursday. They are taking a road trip to square off against the Gulf Breeze Dolphins at 7:00 p.m. Crestview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Gulf Breeze likes a good challenge.

Crestview was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Marianna on Monday. Crestview put the hurt on Marianna with a sharp 69-46 win. Crestview not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since January 25th (when they won 79-40).

Crestview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hayden Graham, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Johns, who had 12 points.

Meanwhile, Gulf Breeze had to suffer through a 64-37 loss at the hands of Fort Walton Beach. The matchup marked the Dolphins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Crestview now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gulf Breeze, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Crestview didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Gulf Breeze in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 39-35 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
