Don Bosco Cristo Rey scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They came out on top against Spencerville Adventist Academy by a score of 55-42.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Capital City Public Charter School sidestepped Bell for a 56-54 victory.
Capital City Public Charter School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from David Whittington, who scored 18 points along with six steals and five assists. Whittington hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Kelvin Davis was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven steals and six assists.
Don Bosco Cristo Rey's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Capital City Public Charter School, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season.
