Basketball Recap: Myers Park Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Myers Park lost against Davidson Day back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs took a hard 74-59 fall against the Patriots.

Despite the loss, Myers Park saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rucker Jamison went 6-for-10 on his way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Vickery, who posted ten points and five assists.

Myers Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Davidson Day, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Myers Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 87-51 win against Olympic on the 22nd. As for Davidson Day, they have also already played their next matchup, a 73-56 victory against Wesleyan Christian Academy on the 24th.
