It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kimball can now relate to. They fell just short of the Alvarado Indians by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Angel Campos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Kimball's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Alvarado, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

While Kimball had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
