Basketball Recap: Stevenson Takes a Loss

Stevenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the King's Way Christian Knights, falling 69-38. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 335th, while the Knights are ranked 153rd).

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for King's Way Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stevenson will welcome La Center at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. La Center knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Stevenson likes a good challenge. As for King's Way Christian, they will host Kalama at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. King's Way Christian is facing Kalama at the right time seeing as Kalama is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
