Volleyball Recap: Freedom Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Freedom Prep Academy suffered their biggest loss since March 28th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Salt Lake Academy Griffins. The Eagles have struggled against the Griffins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

While Freedom Prep Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-20.

Freedom Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Salt Lake Academy, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-6.

Freedom Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salt Lake Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Murray on the 25th.
