Football Game Preview: Brandon Blackhawks vs. Pontiac Phoenix + How To Watch

The Brandon Blackhawks will head out to challenge the Pontiac Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Brandon is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Flushing on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Blackhawks had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Raiders. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Blackhawks were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Pontiac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by Southfield Arts & Tech 36-0. While losing is never fun, the Phoenix can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 466th, while the Warriors are ranked 196th).

Pontiac's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Brandon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
