Football Game Preview: McDaniel Mountain Lions vs. Grant Generals + Official Tickets

McDaniel hasn't had much luck against Grant recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mountain Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Generals at 7:00 p.m. McDaniel has given up an average of 31.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

McDaniel is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Lincoln on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Mountain Lions took a blow against the Cardinals, falling 35-6. The Mountain Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Meanwhile, Grant came up short against Ida B. Wells on Thursday and fell 28-20. The Generals haven't had much luck with the Guardians recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for McDaniel, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

McDaniel might still be hurting after the 28-6 defeat they got from Grant in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Mountain Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
