There's no place like home for Mill Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Shawnee Mission North Bison with a sharp 78-52 victory on Tuesday. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 26 points or more this season.

Mill Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Shawnee Mission North, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mill Valley Jaguars take on the Lawrence Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mill Valley is facing Lawrence at the right time seeing as Lawrence is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Shawnee Mission North, they will head out on the road to face off against Shawnee Mission South on Friday. Shawnee Mission South will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Shawnee Mission North surely won't give up without a fight.
