Softball Recap: Erie Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Erie's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Meadville Bulldogs on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Royals in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Erie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Meadville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Erie wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-3 loss against Fort LeBoeuf on the 6th. As for Meadville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-0 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 5th.
