Softball Recap: Littlerock Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lancaster, Littlerock was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Antelope Valley Antelopes 15-1. The win continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Antelopes: they've now won eight in a row.

Littlerock's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Antelope Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Littlerock will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Palmdale at 3:15 p.m. on April 1. Palmdale has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.5 runs per game on average), something Littlerock will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Antelope Valley, they will face off against Desert Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
