Soccer Game Preview: Farrington vs. Waialua

The Farrington Governors will challenge the Waialua Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Farrington's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Farrington came up short against 'Aiea on Tuesday, falling 5-1.

Meanwhile, Waialua lost 9-2 to Yorba Linda on Wednesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Waialua came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 19th in Hawaii, while Yorba Linda are ranked 178th in California).

Waialua now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Farrington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Farrington beat Waialua by a goal when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Governors repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
